In a nutshell, this is an adult cartoon about a cute but dark little girl Dylan found a book of spells and conjured up Golan. She is now working with him to become his acolyte.
You can view it on Hulu or watch full episodes here.
In case you aren't already in love with this show... you should check out Golan the Insatiable. This show is my new favorite and, I'm pretty impressed it is on FOX.

(This post could contain some spoilers... sorry about that. )
Initially, I was pretty excited for this film to come out. With critics raving:
And about 500 more sassy quotes if you want to see for yourself. The film has a 98% rating with Rotten Tomatoes. With the film being touted as a game changer, I couldn't wait to see what this was all about. And, I was pretty disappointed. I had the perfect stormy night setting and some wine. I was pleasantly surprised to see the outdated neighborhoods and the abandoned Northville Psychiatric building from back home in Metro Detroit where it was filmed. I appreciate the vintage feel captured with the film and the simplicity. The opening scene was great and captured me. A girl was upset and running. Eventually we see her stopped on a beach, sitting in the light of her car's headlights and making what we find to be her last phone call. Cut scene to her eerily mangled body. Great. The story though, is where it was all lacking for me. Really? An STD like manifestation? I get that other viewers appreciated a modern day allegory but I really think the last thing society needs is another film to scare teenagers into thinking twice before getting it on. The story is like swiss cheese. There is no explanation for why this happened, why are they after these kids who commit the act, why there are multiple spirits, why do the spirits rape them to death and why passing it on makes it better pretty much temporarily. Essentially, they will be running forever...from slow moving ghosts. (I'm sure some people will argue that since the kids in the film don't have these answers, you are supposed to be just as clueless.) If you think about it, The Ring has a very similar premise of 'passing something on', being chased and being cursed. However, the whole movie is spent uncovering the story of why these things were happening. It follows did not explain... it was just chase. Overall Ratings-- Scare Factor: A few jumps and disturbing images but... mostly running from slow moving ghosts. Rating: ❤ This is a photo of garlic when sliced open lengthwise. We eat this strange looking thing everyday.
If you're like me, this photo may disturb you in a way you can't quite explain. I just learned today that there is a name for it, Trypophobic. It is the fear or uneasiness about clustered holes. Read more about it here. Sorry I am a little late posting some of this news but, Casting is open for scare actors! Check out the link here. This year there will be double the cast. I'd love to be apart of it but I will just have to stick to the one being scared this year. RIP tour tickets are on sale. I've got mine for Halloween night! Tours are selling out quickly so you might not want to wait on this... With this tour you get access to a private lounge, you are escorted through all of the houses, and vip seating at all of the shows. This is a great deal because this year will be packed and seeing all of the houses in one night will be tricky and with this tour there will be plenty of pee breaks. There is also the 'Behind the screams' tour where you can see the houses with the lights on and the costuming/makeup rooms. I haven't done this tour but I'd love to! These tours are selling out quickly due to this being the 25th anniversary celebration. And lastly... I am so excited that they announced this week that we will be able to take a trip into 'the further'. There will be an Insidious house this year. This was the house I have been hoping for all along. I love the idea of the further from the first and second Insidious films. The further will be so easy to replicate but an amazing place for some intense scares. Can't wait guys! There are still many mysteries to be revealed for HHN25. It seems the clue for 'Blizzard' hasn't been solved, some say they have seen a firework pit being constructed at the park, photos of medieval like doorways have surfaced, a possible partnership with Nintendo and more. (Orlando Informer has collected a lot of the theories here) We will just have to wait and see! I have no doubt this year will be amazing. - xoxo, Pretty Scary
I'm pretty excited about the whole thing. I'm happy I found an interesting collective of like minded people who are into the paranormal as well and I do love paranormal shows so I'm happy to be a part of one. Here are some photos from the investigation from my personal instagram. Follow me on instagram and twitter for more photos and updates! - xoxo, pretty scary
A week or so ago, I visited Saint Augustine for the first time. I knew it was somewhere I wanted to visit for a while and it was definitely on my Florida bucket list (a.k.a all of the things I need to see and do before I move out of the state). All of the pictures online and research really didn't do the town justice. Nothing could have prepared me for how amazing Saint Augustine really is. The town is celebrating it's 450th birthday this year... that is 450 years of battles, history, growth and of course, death. While walking down St George Street with every step and around every corner there was something new to revel at and something new to explore. From the bricks below your feet, to the stone fence at your side, to the historical home you pass by; the history surrounds you. One of the first things I was told about Saint Augustine when I arrived was that the entire city is a burial ground. Everywhere in the city people have died in someway; most brutal due to it's violent past. When they do construction on buildings or streets, bodies are unearthed each time. That has to explain the activity around the city. To build off of that notion, so many people have been killed here the river and inlet next to the city is called the 'Matanzas River' which translates to killings or slaughter in Spanish. It is legend that a few times in history, this river ran red with blood. "Maybe it's the city's tumultuous history of invasions, fire and disease. Or maybe ghosts just like nice weather, too. Whatever the case, there are lots of believers in St. Augustine, and about as many tales of the supernatural." - Sarah Stewart from The Gainesville Sun. When researching a trip to Saint Augustine, you will find that there are little to no hotels. Most places are 'Inns' or bed and breakfasts. I assume it is to preserve the integrity of the town. The whole mood and experience would be very different had there been a Holiday Inn lurking in between historical properties. Now back to the creepy stuff! I did plenty of research before arriving in Saint Augustine and from what I read, Antiques and Uniques was the place to go. In the late 1800's, the building was constructed on top of a Catholic cemetery and was used as the old city jail for decades. There are still two rooms in the back of the small building that were once the cells. It is said, two prisoners and a guard never left. We wondered in here actually to grab a quick drink and use the restroom. This was a little hidden gem. It was an open air patio with a clear view of the illuminated Castillo, churning of the old water wheel, delicious shots and actually good live music. I hear that it is rumored to be haunted but I can't seem to dig up anything than the notion. Do you have any information? If so, give me a shout!
