Krampus and Gremlins have become my Christmas Horror Movie staples.
Though both movies are full of horrorific creatures, death and destruction; they boast Christmas themes, snowy scapes and 'feel good' endings. I remember when I lived in Michigan, snow storms called for a special showing of 'The Shining'. When it's monsoon season here in Florida, I tend to put on 'The Ring' because the Seattle setting fits the mood. Do you have any other movies that have become part of your Christmas Traditions or other life event staples? I'd love to hear them. - xoxo, Pretty Scary This is probably #1 on my Christmas list this year. Poor Gizmo. I will mostly be scaring him with it. It's that time of the year again when I make my pilgrimage back home to Michigan.
Gizmo's face decribes the horror I feel inside. I am excited for snow, being able to wear boots and scarves without sweating (IT IS STILL 80 DEGREES HERE, WTF) and time with friends and family. I am not excited about the airport chaos, sharing the table with loud polocks with a radical unwavering political review whilst having to keep everyone calm and happy for a week. Today I am going to start packing and try making krampus gingerbread ornaments. Happy Holidays! - xoxo, Pretty Scary I'm trapped in a vortex of Christmas, Netflix's Shameless and Hulu's Shut eye.
Someone help me? or is this where I am supposed to be? |
